Many cats drink more from moving water than from a still bowl. The V2 PRO keeps the water circulating all day, which adds oxygen and keeps it from going flat, and the two spout modes let a shy cat sip from a soft bubble while a bold one drinks from the stream.
Plastic bowls scratch and hold onto slime and smells. The bowl and top here are 304 stainless steel: they resist corrosion, take hot water, and go in the dishwasher. Only the plastic parts — the pump, filter holder and spout pieces — should be washed by hand.
A blue window on the side, lit by an LED, shows how much water is left — useful at night and in multi-cat homes where 3.2 litres can go faster than you expect.
we have 2 large Rag Doll cats, they both love drinking from this fountain. It took one a little longer to trust it was okay. the fountain is easy to assemble and it is quiet. Because they are big cats they drink a lot of water so we add about 3 cups every third day. It's super easy to clean and the cats go right back to it after we clean it. Our grandson recommended it, he has 3 running in his home. I highly recommend this style with the 2 fountains and this design by this company!
My cats love this fountain! The stainless steel is quality and functionally it works well. My cats like the fresh water coming out of the faucet form of using. The bowl is a large size and holds a lot of water, I just have to refill every 4-5 days. The fountain starts to bubble when low so easy to remember to refill if forget to do. The sound is very quiet but I also like the sound of running water. Replacing the filter is easy to do and can definitely tell it is cleaning tge water and filtering out debris out well. Cleaning the bowl is easy, usually just wipe out with a paper towel. I had another plastic type fountain and all around it was a headache to clean and keep up with, this fountain is so easy to use I highly recommend especially if you have finicky cats who need running "fresh" water to drink like mine.
Our cat loves this fountain. So far after 6 weeks no slimy feeling in bowl and it is quiet. Easy to put together and clean. Water is staying fresh.
